This business was established in 1964 by Max and Jim Platter, under the name of Platter Billiard Supply. In approximately 1982 Max retired and sold his business and it then became known as A.J. Gill Billiard Supply. I started working here in 1988 after 13 years of We have about 250 different pool cue sticks in stock at all times, such as Viking, McDermott, Meuc We stock many different kinds of balls most of which are made in Belgum by the Arimath Co. and are commonly referred to as Belgian Balls. These are the highest quality balls available anywhere. They are made of phenolic resin which is much harder and a much more durable substance than the softer polyester resin type balls which are produced in China. There are several different types of these balls including the Crown Standard, Premier, Premium, and Super Professional. They also make a glow in the dark set. We also stock Swirl balls which are very similar to Elephant Balls but must more reasonably priced. There are also collegiate balls for most major teams as well as Pearlized and Lunar balls. We stock training balls such as the Jim Rempe cue ball and the red spotted Pro Cup cue ball as seen on ESPN professional pool tournaments. Nascar and Harley-Davidson balls are also available. We also stock Bumper Pool balls, miniature pool balls and Three Cushion Billiards or Carom pool balls. Coin operated pool tables use a wide varity of different cue balls ranging from 2 3/8” oversized to magnetic to red circle cue balls. We stock Davis universal (mud) balls as well as the Belgian made tournament magnetic ball. We have a wide varity of billiard lamps available. You can’t play if you can’t see. We have beautiful stained glass lamps and many different styles of three and four shaded lamps. We have lamps with pool balls on them, lamps with metal shaded glass shaded and once again collegiate lamps in both stained glass as well as metal shades. We also stock a lot of billiard related wall décor such as shadow boxes, neon lights, framed pictures, canvas transfers (sort of painted canvas pictures), street signs, posters, scorekeepers, clocks and chalk boards. We have numerous pool related T-Shirts, steel tip and electronic darts and dart boards, as well as dart accessories, wall mounted and floor standing cue racks, cone chalk holders, triangles, nine ball racks, tips and tip repair kits, ping pong table conversion tops, instructional books and DVD’s, dominoes, magazines, Kim and Copag playing cards, poker accessories, chip sets and barstools. We stock about 40 different colors of high grade billiard fabric at all times. We sell Simonis, Forstmann, Mali, and Championship billiard fabrics commonly referred to as felt(which it is not actually). We sell both worsted and carded wool fabrics. We do all type of services to pool tables and cue sticks. We move, recover / refelt, repair, refinish, restore, replace cushion rubber / bumpers / banks, tear down and crate slates for moving purposes and we also offer temporay storeage of pool tables. On pool cues we replace tips, shafts, wraps, bumpers and ferrules. We also offer shaft cleaning and polishing. Tips can usually be attached while you wait if we are not too busy at the moment. All other services can usually be ready the later the same day or the next day. |

We also have several used commercial pool hall type tables such as Gandy Sportsman tables and Brunswick Gold Crowns. We have enough of these to fill several pool halls.
